An Origin of the Pluviophile.

Pluviophile:

(n) 1.a lover of rain

2. someone who finds joy and peace of mind during rainy days.

That might not be a word you’ve heard of before, I know, but it’s a word I relate to very closely. I love the rain, I absolutely adore it. When most people would shelter in their homes during a downpour, I ache to run outside and feel the rain on my skin.

A Debate: The Death Penalty.

The death penalty. In some countries, that phrase may seem medieval and unthreatening, but in others, it is a phrase that brings very realistic fear to mind. But why is that? The death penalty is a government sanctioned punishment by death, and crimes that warrant a death penalty are known as Capital Crimes. There are several methods of enforcing the death penalty, ranging from somewhat humane to out-right sickening, including: beheading, electric chair, hanging, lethal injection, shooting and even the use of gas chambers. But is it morally right or justified?
